CPP's Totally Tubular™ line of suspension upgrades are a great way to improve not only the looks of your prized classic, but also its function too. This Totally Tubular™ Shock Tower Brace Kit fits 64-66 Mustang and strengthens and improves chassis rigidity and overall vehicle handling without any drilling and welding. The one piece mount on each shock tower also attaches to the inner fender structure and braces the fender and shock tower together. Each one piece shock tower mount attaches the cross bar and triangulated firewall braces while the firewall braces have 1/4"-thick steel both above and below the firewall flange. This steel sandwich captures all four firewall bolts while providing a rigid mount for the rear braces. Finally, adjustable rod ends ensure a perfect fit every time. The primary function of a Monte Carlo bar is to keep the shock towers from deflecting towards the engine when increased loads are induced, which can occur during road racing, drag racing and aggressive street driving however, this setup provides more rigidity and less hardware than a traditional Monte Carlo bar and export brace combination and comes in an attractive black powder coated finish for durability and longevity.
