1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass, 442 OEM Specifications / Production Numbers Information booklet. 25 pages. This book contains Production Numbers, OEM Specifications, Vin Break  Down, Factory Options, Tune Up Specs, Brochure and advertising.
This book has highly detailed pages specific to this year car, It gives you production numbers, measurements, drive train numbers, how to decode the VIN, all the trim and options for that year, including standard features, options, and prices for those options, also tune up specifications, and all the advertising for that particular year.
This is a wealth of knowledge that has been compiled By James Kryta of Inline tube from hundreds of documents and hundreds of hours of time - for this particular make and year.
With 32 years of Oldsmobile experience, over 20 top notch restorations and thousands of hours spent on research, I have composed this booklet.  Research was gathered from factory assembly manuals, Oldsmobile parts books, brochures, service manuals, product selling information, assembly line inspector guides, and dealer order forms.  I have compiled all of this information into one easy to read, year-specific brochure.  This is the most complete by-the-numbers booklet of its kind.  Hundreds of hours and many sources have provided information to help make this book possible.
The information in this booklet is accurate to the best of my knowledge.  While all W- Machines were built in Lansing, Michigan, Cutlasses and 442s were also built at multiple other plants; Fremont, California, Framingham, Massachusetts, and Arlington, Texas.  Oldsmobile had multiple plants across the country to supply its dealers.  Variances existed within some plants and more so between multiple plant locations.  With that being said, all information in this booklet is looked at with an open mind. Plants faced problems such as human error, supply chain shortages, multiple vendor/supplier shortages, labor strikes, and order form issues.  Not to mention, every car that was ordered allowed the purchaser to select any number of options to custom build the car to suit their needs.  It’s like saying, “every car has its own fingerprint” based on the options added to the car.  Let’s also keep in mind, the plants had three shifts and thousands of workers who all did their job based on guidelines; not every car was built the same.
Furthermore, the reader will notice some sections of the booklet have question marks in the boxes.  I could not verify the information with 100 percent accuracy.  You are encouraged to send information to help complete some of the sections that I could not confirm.  I will look at any factory document.  Word of mouth simply will not do.
I have an open mind and I hope you do as well.  I learn new things every day that fill in the blanks and other specifications still remain a mystery.  I hope you enjoy the vast amount of information in this booklet as much as I enjoyed working on this project.

Sales Tax
Orders outside the state of Michigan are not required to pay sales tax. All orders placed in the state of Michigan, add 6% sales tax to your total order amount.

Shipments within the Continental USA
Most of our products ship via FedEx Ground or USPS, but we also utilize other convenient and cost effective shipping services.  All  orders are shipped within 24 to 48 hours of receipt. States close to Michigan usually receive shipments within a few days, west coast orders can take up to 5 days.
Hawaii and Alaska Orders
All Canada, Hawaii and Alaska orders will be shipped by postal carrier. The cost of shipping to Canada must be determined after the order is initially placed. An invoice will be sent to you with the corresponding shipping rate. In the event that an invoice for shipping charges is not received, please message us via the seller link to get your rate.
International Shipments
All international orders are handled via eBay's Global Shipping Program. International shipments can at times take several weeks to get throught customs so please keep this in consideration.

Returns & Refunds
Motorcity Super Cars stock items may be returned within thirty (30) days from the purchase date. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking charge. Shipped costs must be prepaid and merchandise must be in resalable condition (see below). Returned items must be in new/unused/resalable condition and must be accompanied by a copy of the ebay order or full legal name of seller, eBay user ID and email address for us to process any claim. No returns will be accepted after 30 days from the purchase date. No returns will be accepted for any portion of a complete set.
We do not provide call tag service for parts pickup. The customer will pay freight on all return orders. Mailbox stores charge service and packing fees that are not refundable by Motorcity Super Cars.
Resalable Condition
All returned goods are to be in resalable condition. This means we will not accept a part used on a car, greasy, damaged, bent or without the original box. Resalable means in the same condition as you received it in.
Damaged Packages - Shipping
Report damaged packages immediately by sending a message through the seller link. Please include pictures of the damaged product AND package in your message. Damages MUST be reported WITHIN 48 HOURS of receipt of the order.
Shortages or Incorrect Orders
If there is a mistake on your order, contact us immediately via message though the seller link and we will make arrangements for the exchange of the correct items. Count and confirm all items in sealed bags BEFORE opening that bag. Shortages or other issues must be reported WITHIN 48 HOURS of receipt of the order.

Motorcity Super Cars warrants that goods sold by it shall be free from defects in material and workmanship, and shall conform to all applicable specifications and drawings. Motorcity Super Cars liability, whether based on breach of warranty of contract or negligence in manufacturing, shall by limited to replacement or repair (at Motorcity Super Cars inspection) of the defective or nonconforming goods, or (at Motorcity Super Cars election) refund of the purchase price. This warranty shall apply, and Motorcity Super Cars shall be liable for replacement, repair, or refund, only if the buyer has given Motorcity Super Cars written notice of the defect or nonconformity within 30 days after the delivery of goods to buyer. Motorcity Super Cars assumes no liability over the results of the use of any goods purchased from Motorcity Super Cars including, without limitation, their use in combination with other components, assemblies or products, or their suitability for a particular environment.
