    THESE DO NOT COME PAINTED!! I DO NOT HAVE THE EPA REQUIRED PAINT FACILITIES TO PAINT THESE. I suggest lightly oiling them since they are going to get scratched.
    This is a pair of front suspension upper control arm support tools that will prevent damage to your front shock absorbers, ball joints, and strut rods when your shock tower equipped Ford or Mercury is jacked up in the air. The damage is caused by the weight of the wheel/tire assembly, spindle, brake drums or rotors and the weight of all the hardware and control arms pulling down as the car is jacked up. The support tools are placed between the upper control arm and the frame before the car is jacked up and the front suspension is supported by these two tools when the vehicle is jacked up. They can be used as a pair, or one at a time. They are made in the USA from heavy 3/8" flat bar stock and MIG welded in my fabrication shop. They will work on any shock tower equipped Ford or Mercury such as:
    -1960-1971 Comet.
    -1960-1970 Falcon.
    -1966-1971 Fairlane.
    -1960-1971 Ranchero.
    -1968-1971 Torino.
    -1970-1977 Maverick/Comet.
    -1975-1980 Granada/Monarch/Versailles
