Aristo-Craft C-16 Pennsylvania 2-8-0 Steam Engine G-Gauge Original BoxB, Used, Very good conditionPlease note the following:
1
. Although the
tenders electrical connection has been severed the locomotive still runs very well
, currently the tender does pick up power but the wire has pulled free inside the locomotive and therefore preventing current flow. This will require disassembly to repair. Once the locomotive is disassembled I believe it will be an easy soldering fix. (Again the locomotive runs well without the pickup from the tender as seen in this video.

2. The bell is missing.
I am certain it is resting on the grass below the layout somewhere but I have been unable to locate it.
3
.
The cowcatcher has been repaired by me.
The arm broke off during a trial track run and has been reconnected. Please see photo of the cow catcher repair.
4. There is minor paint deterioration that is not noticeable without close inspection.
Due to the reasons above I rate this Locomotive and tender as a "very good" instead of an "excellent" score.
Other than the above issues the Locomotive and tender have been very well maintained, they have been oiled and cleaned according to the Aristo-craft manual instructions. You will receive a copy of the instructions printed out from the Aristo-craft manual that I found online.
This locomotive is a runner, it is heavy and can pull up to 6 passenger cars without breaking a sweat because of its sturdy design. I used it for my monthly train runs and kept my Broadway Spectrum 81497, 81495, and 81498 Locomotives for display and infrequent use.
Why am I letting it go? I have finally decided to run a specific area of the U.S. My trains include the ATSF, Colorado & Southern, Denver & Rio Grande and Kansas Central. Unfortunately a Pennsylvania line has no place in this layout. Please see the two cars I am also selling which incudes a Pennsylvania combine and a Pennsylvania Passenger car.
