Unusual Carved Stone Animal Kangaroo ? Soapstone Jadeite Dark Green Incense

Ok, .This is for a
Unusual Carved Stone Animal that looks to be a Kangaroo and big and heavy.it stands 12" on a wood base not sure of material,possibly Soapstone Jadeite,a  Dark Green as you can see..I was wondering if perhaps the "Pouch" could be used for an Incense burner?.beats me. Came from a storage locker of some nice vintage items.condition is very nice but if you look at the back of the tail there is a thin line that coule be a crack not sure.reallyncant feel it..also with a couple minor rubs but nothing much..I see no makers name on it either..good luck.
