    Description

Rare LGB 22182 Colorado & Southern Mogul Steam Locomotive and Tender with Box
    Excellent Condition
This auction is for a VHTF(Very Hard To Find) Lehmann Gross Bahn (The Big train)
    #22182 C & S Railroad No. 5 2-6-0 Mogul Locomotive.
This American Style loco and tender set is in excellent condition. It has a cow catcher, highly polished parts, and a huge spark-arresting smoke stack(solid, no breaks), which was commonly used on wood burning locomotives to prevent forest fires. The balloon smoke stack contains a working smoke generator(see photos). The large lantern on the front is fully operational(see photos).
Inside the fully detailed cab you'll find the engineer at work. At the front of the loco is a prototypical auxiliary coupler. It is equipped  with a digital electronic sound system, for unprecedented realism. The four-axle tender features finely detailed trucks and a wood load.  A Kadee coupler is mounted on the tender, but I'll also include a standard hook and loop coupler.
    Additional features include:
    Made in Germany.
    Powerful seven-pole Buhler motor.
    Simulated flickering firebox fire.
Digital electronic chuffing sound with wheel synchronization.
Bell and whistle sounds triggered by an LGB 17050 magnetic track contact.
Whistle, air pump, steam release, and steam leakage sounds.
Large western lantern which shines with a constant intensity, when moving forward, from low to high speeds.
Working smoke generator(a small sample tube of smoke liquid is included).
The tender comes with a fireman/stoker figure.
The tender also features and On/Off switch for the sound system, along with a volume control knob.
    Rear light socket.
This locomotive runs smoothly in forward and reverse direction without issue. It does have some surface dust from being on a display shelf,  when not being ran around my outdoor layout. It comes with peal off stickers, should you wish to change the road name and markings.  Available road names are: Durango & Silverton, Pennsylvania, Baltimore & Ohio, White Pass & Yukon, Santa Fe(A.T. & S.F.), Denver & Rio Grande,  and New York Central. Also included are an Instruction Booklet, a copy of the Service Parts Diagram, and its original box(in excellent condition).
I did not notice any missing parts. Aside from the typical signs of wear from use(on the power pickups), the only damage I am aware of is one of the wires in the six-wire harness from the loco to the tender has broken at the connector. I do not have a replacement connector that  I could repair the wire harness with, but I'm sure a local train repair shop that works on LGB products can help you out. The end result of the broken wire is that most of the loco's digital sounds are not heard, where they were very prevalent beforehand.
The locomotive and tender measure a little over 26 inches(665mm) in length.
The traveling expenses for this rare, very nice locomotive set covers shipping, handling, and insurance. A delivery signature will  be required due to the value of this set.
